Cody, Wyoming - July 4th parade - ongoing
Several years ago, A billboard was put up on the outskirts of Cody, Wyoming claiming - DON’T CALIFORNIA OUR CODY
In response, a group of local activists put up a billboard just saying WELCOME in 60 different languages. Meaning all are welcome here. In continuance of that concept, we have started a yearly pilgramage of walking in Cody’s July 4th parade where thousands gather from all over the country to celebrate our independence day. We hand out hundreds of flowers to everyone along the route spreading joy and embracing our common humanity.
The WELCOME float has also travelled to Powell, Wyoming for their parade during their county fair. As the concept continues to spread, we will keep you updated.
