In today’s world, it’s all too easy to feel divided—separated by beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences. But kindness? Kindness is the game-changer, the real connection point. It’s the thing that cuts through all the noise and reminds us of what we share. 

On World Kindness Day, the global creative studio Fine Acts, and the independent philanthropic artist-focused foundation A.W.E. are launching Kindness as a Common Ground – an open call to creators and storytellers to bring kindness to life, to create moments that show how compassion bridges divides and makes us all feel seen and valued. We are specifically seeking outside-the-box approaches and radical creativity around kindness that push boundaries and explore unexpected ways kindness can reshape our world.

• Launch Date: 13 November 2024, World Kindness Day

• Submission Deadline: January 13, 2025

How to Submit
Share your entry on Instagram or TikTok by using our campaign hashtag #CommonGroundKindness, tagging Fine Acts and AWE. Alternatively, submissions can be uploaded through the form below.

Who Can Participate
This is a global open call for anyone with a creative vision: whether you're an emerging director, filmmaker, artist, or aspiring content creator. We’re looking for those ready to tell impactful stories and showcase acts of kindness that bridge divides.

Selection & Recognition
At the end of the submission period, we'll award a mix of 5 Grand Prizes (each 1,500 USD) and 3 Honorable Mentions (each 250 USD) to selected creators whose work stands out for its message, creativity, and impact.

Finalists will be celebrated across social platforms through a global campaign launching in February 2025, aligning with Kindness Month.
